| Alrighty... where to start?
My English Composition(1301) is goin' a lot better than I expected. I think my teacher likes me for some reason. Its kinda weird because I haven't really talked to her about anything except ask questions about assignments. I've never met her before this class. The other day she was calling role and after she called my name and saw that I was there, she said, "Yay." It was very strange. We have to write a total of 30 pages of journals. I've only written two so far and kinda workin' on the third. The topics I chose were an autobiography, an influential person in my life, and an unforgettable trip. I would fully appreciate it if y'all could throw some topic ideas my way. I'm still without a job. I'm planning on going to a law office to apply for their runner position because the hours are flexible except for Mondays, which won't matter. I'm a little reluctant to applying at a daycare again. I miss my kids in Amarillo so much. I think I'm afraid I'll get too attatched again. We'll see what happens.
Well, that's all I can think of at the moment.
Oh! One of my girls from the San Antonio Katalyst Weekend(Jan. 18-20) is goin' through a rough patch right now. Her birthday was on the 23rd. On that day, she found her dad had emergency brain surgery in Lubbock after having an anurism. She went to see him for a few days, but had to come back for some reason. Since the surgery, he has responded to his name twice and squeezed a ball. He woke up from his coma yesterday and held her brother and sister's hands. Please keep her in your prayers when you think of it. Thanks a bunch!

| Started class today. Still freakin' out about having to write papers. I'm not a writer... at all.
Still lookin' for a job.
SOOOOOOO stinkin' excited about the Katalyst Weekend coming up. Oh how I've missed those. Woo-hoo!!! The van ride should be interesting. There will be some somewhat new faces. I shall miss Brandon Hughes. He was like a big brother to me, but there will be a "new" Brandon H. Haha. Brandon Halfmann. Known him for a week and he's already makin' fun of me. Haha. He is a cool kid though. Ooo! And Jenna Lynn Jones! Maybe even Sara Warren. I'm so excited!

| Well, Duane(my step-dad) went to the ER this mornin'. His acid reflux acted up and he got dehydrated. He is home now and feelin' a little better, but we won't be goin' to Lubbock today. It may just be my mom and I that go. We'll see. This is the second Christmas in a row that something has prevented Duane from goin' up to my Grannie's. Last year, both of his arms were in casts. Hopefully he'll be good to go tomorrow. | | |
| I'm back! Sweet Angelo. Lol. Leaving for CHRISTmas in Lubbock with my mom's side tomorrow afternoon. Returning Tuesday as soon as we finish the celebration. My brother is a newlywed and I have a new sister!!! They're now at there honeymoon spot... the mountains. How cool is that! Oh and I guess I looked totally different in the wedding because my own dad had to ask my mom to point me out. In his defense, I rarely have my hair down, especially not curled, and I always have my glasses on. Ha. I can't wait to see the pictures.
